Overview
VibeChat is a live 1v1 video chat service that connects you with other real people through random or filtered matching. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use VibeChat, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies only to VibeChat and the features we actually offer — there are no public profiles to browse, no photo galleries, no comment walls, and no community groups on this platform.
By creating an account and using VibeChat, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Information We Collect
Account information: when you sign up we collect a basic identifier such as an email address or third-party sign-in token, plus the display name you choose. We do not require your legal name, home address, or social media accounts to use the service.
Usage and device data: we collect limited technical information such as device type, browser, language, approximate region, and basic event logs (for example, when a session starts or a report is submitted). This helps us match users, prevent abuse, and keep the service stable.
Payment data: if you buy Coins or a VIP subscription, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. VibeChat does not store your full card number — we keep only a record of the transaction needed for billing and support.
Camera and microphone: a live video session streams in real time between you and your match. VibeChat does not record your video calls for storage as a standard part of the service. Limited information may be retained when you submit a report so the moderation team can review a guideline violation.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide live 1v1 matching, apply the gender and country filters you select, process Coins and VIP purchases, operate safety tools such as report and block, enforce community guidelines through moderation, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your camera or microphone streams to build advertising profiles.
Live Sessions, Reports, and Moderation
Your video and audio are transmitted live so two people can talk in real time. When you use the report tool, the system may capture limited context about the reported session so moderators can assess what happened and take action, such as warning, suspending, or removing an account that breaks the rules.
Blocking a user is a private action on your account that prevents future matches with that person; it is not shared publicly.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and filter preferences, and measure basic performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling some of them may affect sign-in or matching.
Data Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate VibeChat (for example, hosting, real-time video infrastructure, and payment processing), and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of users and the public.
Data Retention and Account Deletion
We keep account and transaction data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You can delete your VibeChat account at any time from your account settings, or by contacting our support team. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your profile information, subject to limited records we must keep for legal, security, or billing reasons (for example, abuse reports or purchase history).
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact our support team. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Adults Only
VibeChat is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an underage person has created an account, we will remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of VibeChat after an update means you accept the revised policy.
