What VibeChat Is

VibeChat is a browser-based live 1v1 video chat service. It connects adults around the world for real-time, face-to-face conversations through random or filtered matching. There are no public profiles to browse, no photo feeds, and no group rooms — the entire experience is built around one simple idea: tap Start and meet another available person in a live 1v1 video session.

We think the best way to meet someone new is to actually see and hear them. A short live conversation reveals more about a person than a wall of text or a static profile ever could. VibeChat is designed to make that first moment fast, natural, and low-pressure, so you can move on freely or stay as long as the conversation is good.

How It Works

Starting a chat is quick. Sign up, allow camera and microphone access, and press Start. VibeChat connects you with another available person in a private one-to-one video call — just the two of you, with no audience. Press Next any time you want to meet someone different, or stay while the conversation is going well. You will not find public rooms, group calls, or profiles to scroll through here; every match is a single live conversation between two people.

Safety First

The controls that matter most stay right on the chat screen, not hidden in a settings menu. Next ends a conversation immediately, Block keeps a person out of your future matches, and Report flags behavior so it can be reviewed against VibeChat's rules. Entry is account-based rather than fully anonymous, which makes disposable accounts costlier to spin up, and you confirm your age when you sign up — VibeChat is strictly for adults 18 and older. Live video travels through your browser over WebRTC, the standard web technology for real-time calls, and its media stream is encrypted in transit. Even so, assume anything on camera could be captured by the other side, and keep personal details to yourself.

Free to Try

You can start using VibeChat without paying. After you sign up, new users receive free trial credits to try live matching first. Once those credits are used, extra chats and certain preferences — such as gender or country filters — may need Coins or a VIP plan. Whenever something costs money, the price appears in the app before you confirm, so nothing is charged by surprise. Browsing, getting matched, and using Next, Block, and Report are always free.
